Laura Sosinsky, PhD, a Research Scientist with the Public Health Management Corporation Research and Evaluation Group (PHMC REG), conducts early childhood evaluations and research that is community focused including implementation, outcome, and impact evaluations of parenting, home visiting, early education professional development, and nutrition programs.  Dr. Sosinsky recently led several Head Start and Early Head Start projects with grantees and state associations, including community needs assessments, wages and benefits surveys, and studies of Head Start enrollment needs among parents.  In addition to journal articles focusing on early childhood initiatives and positive outcomes for children and families, she has published for practice and policy audiences to distill relevant research and policy and inform training for early childhood mental health providers, pediatricians, and state ECE PD programs. Dr. Sosinsky has a BA in Psychology from Cornell University and a PhD in Developmental Psychology from Yale University.

Megan Richardson, MA, is a Senior Project Director with more than a decade of experience leading the evaluations of a variety of education-related programs in the areas of preservice teacher preparation, postsecondary STEM education, and preK-12 education interventions. Her work in early education includes evaluating professional development for preschool teachers (e.g. Sesame Workshop’s Growing Together and an interaction-focused coaching program), and assisting in Head Start community assessments and  Head Start Wage and Benefit surveys. Ms. Richardson has a MA in Sociology and Education from Teachers College, Columbia University and a BA in Sociology and Urban Studies from the University of Pennsylvania. She is also the mother of a first grader and a preschooler.
