Campaigns

PHSA is a leadership partner with Early Learning PA. The coalition's mission is to secure, adequate resources to ensure all Pennsylvania’s children and families have access to voluntary, high-quality early learning opportunities that capitalize on a child’s most rapid period of brain development, birth to age 5.

PHSA is a partner organization of Pre-K For PA with a shared goal to ensure Pennsylvania  invests in high‐quality pre‐kindergarten by making increased annual investments in the Pre‐K Counts and Head Start Supplemental Assistance Program.

As a governing body member of Childhood Begins at Home, PHSA supports this statewide campaign to help policymakers and the public understand the value of evidence-based home visiting and support public investments in the programs.

PHSA is a partner with Start Strong PA advocating for increased access to and affordability of high-quality child care programs, beginning with infants and toddlers.

Thriving PA is a non-partisan, statewide campaign that seeks to improve the quality of and increase equitable access to a coordinated system of health supports, including access to comprehensive perinatal health services, children’s health insurance, nutrition supports and lead screening and abatement. Thanks to an opportunity from the Pritzker Children’s Initiative, Thriving PA focuses solely on perinatal and child health. Thriving PA’s goal is to ensure each mother and child in Pennsylvania has the opportunity for affordable, quality health care access!
