Pennsylvania’s infants, toddlers and their families need our commitment to quality infant toddler care to ensure a strong future for us all. Here’s your opportunity to meet with other early childhood providers and to explore the essential policies of high quality infant-toddler care. This is based in the work of the Program for Infant Toddler Care (PITC). Following the webinar, “Weaving the Tapestry of Quality in Infant Toddler Care”, this day-long training will provide additional information on first steps toward implementing primary caregiving, continuity of care, individualization, cultural competence, inclusion and small groups. Video clips from center-based and home-based programs will show what’s possible. Selected activities will be used to increase our understanding of the infant/toddler experience and the justification for using PITC’s six essential policies.
It is recommended that participants complete the “Weaving the Tapestry of Quality in Infant Toddler Care” webinar before attending this training.
