Children’s Defense Fund: This is prominent advocacy organization for children, especially poor and minority children, and those with disabilities.

The Every Child Matters: This is a national nonprofit organization devoted to improving the lives of children and families by advocating for better public policy during federal and state campaigns.

National Association for the Education of Young Children: This association promotes high quality early childhood education programs.

The National Black Child Development Institute: NBCDI is dedicated to improving and protecting the quality of life for African American children. Their website provides a resource center, publications, and conference information.

National Council of La Raza: NCLR works to improve the lives of Hispanic Americans, addressing issues like poverty, discrimination, health, and more.

National Head Start Association: NHSA is the national advocacy organization for Head Start.  PHSA is proud of its strong partnership with NHSA, the Associations work together to create a unified national voice for Head Start.
